Review: I love love love love love LOVE this product. It is sooo unbelievably moisturizing. I use it as a leave-in/ detangler, spraying it on my hair root to tips after washing my hair. I also spray it on my twist or when ever I feel my hair is dry. This product moisturizes the hair and keeps it moisturized for days. This product is perfect for all season; but most definitely suggest using this product in the spring because the glycerine within the product would draw the moisture in air to your hair. I comes in a variety of options and scents; however, my favorite is peppermint essence because when sprayed on the scalp you have feel the minty tingle. Basically, this is an awesome product and I have repurchased and will continue to purchase it in the future.
Costumer Service: I give costumer service a 5/5 and shipping was alright (received the product about 5-6 days after purchasing)

Fall 2011 Makeup Trends
It's August which means its time to think about what's and what's out for the upcoming season. I will this up into 4 categories 1st being makeup 2nd being nail polish 3rd being hair and 4th being clothes. As I rummage through major fashion magazines and blogs, I realize that the 60's and 70's are back with a vengeance. So expect the bell bottoms, high waist jeans, high retro hair, and dramatic, classy, timeless, and flawless makeup looks.
As illustrated above, the makeup trend of Fall 2011 is bold eyebrows, bold lips, flawless/ natural looking skin, dramatic cat- eye and smokey eye.
Bold Brows: Eyebrows can make or break the face; and, is was used by the fall 2011 runway makeup artists as a face framer. Keep Brook Sheilds in mind when grooming and filling in your brows.
Products: Makeup Forever waterproof eyebrow corrector, M.A.C impeccable brow pencil in taupe, Bobbi Brown eye shadow in birch, Anastasia brow kit, Elf brow shadow.
Bold Lips: Sexy, Dark, Vampy, Sultry lips are in [as if they were ever out :) ] This means bright reds, deep reds, burgundy going into dark plums are the colors to pick up.
Products: M.A.C in Diva, Stila long wear lip color in darling, Revlon Matte lip Stick in Really Red, Maybelline in Ruby Star.
Flawless Skin: A poreless, matte face with a semi- dewy, natural finish should be the goal whenever your doing makeup.
Products: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, M.A.C Studio Fix
Smokey Eye: Smokey eyes are no stranger to the fall/winter seasons. However whats different is the colors used. Reach for navy's, reds, emeralds, and beige's. Always use a primer to prevent creasing and using a cream shadow as a base can make the powder and/or pigment applied intense and vibrant.
Products: M.A.C. creme shadow in pearl, M.A.C eyeshadow in freshwater, jealousy wakes, red brick. and coppering
Moisture Moisture Moisture
As you all know, keeping your body (skin, internal organs, & hair) hydrated and moisturized is extremely important. Moisture is used to add elasticity to the hair and skin; thus giving it the ability to stretch and return to it's original size. The essence of moisture is of course water. So to moisturize, a person must use water-based hair care products; preferably, with water as the first ingredient on the product ingredients list.
Better yet, purchase a spray bottle, add water and a little bit of olive oil and spray your hair with the mixture every single night before your go to bed; and, when you wake up in the morning. You can also steam the hair. This can be done either buying a steamer or by sitting in the bathroom while running hot water, or by just bathing without a shower cap. Another method a person can moisturize their hair is by investing in good conditioners (for co-washing which is washing the hair with conditioner only), deep conditioners and leave in conditions. You will see a significant difference in the elasticity and overall health of your hair in a matter of days.

Those with curly/ kinky hair should be more conscientious when it comes to moisture because those are the hair textures that lose moisture the fastest.
Remember: Stay away from products that claim they moisturize but contain PETROLEUM, MINERAL OIL, and LANOLIN. These products clog pores which can result in slower hair growth; and, coat the hair keeping moisture out.
Also: Remember to SEAL after moisturizing your hair. Sealing when a person coats their hair with an essential oil (castor, rosemary, olive, coconut, sweet almond, etc) and/or all natural butter (shea, mango, cupuacu, etc) of choice to seal after adding moisture to their hair and scalp

Hair Care
I've been on my healthy hair journey for about 8 months now and I feel that educating the masses on healthy for every race and every hair texture is important. Before I began my journey, my hair was a little past shoulder length. I didn't have problems growth and breakage; and, I was pretty much satisfied with where my hair was at, at the time. But after my hair fell out after improper sew-in take down by a uneducated hairdresser at a salon, I decided to take matters into my own hands. From then on, I decided that I was going to wash and style my own hair at home. In order for me to properly take care of my hair, I began to research hair care product ingredients, what stimulated hair growth, what prevented breakage, why breakage occurred and so on. Inspired by hair care websites such as Hairlista, KISS, & CurlyNikki, I decided to create a hair blog in which people can follow to learn about how to achieve healthy, long, thick, manageable hair as well as fashion tips of the season.
